Aam Aadmi Party: What went wrong Mr. Kejriwal?

Modi..Modi ..Modi..Modi..

The fanatic chorus of this word is hardly willing to die; at least temporarily. For someone it is magic, for someone it is irritation but this word always creates a furor always; God know why Modi has become larger than life entity! Come what may, the man has been rightly awarded for the collective efforts of RSS cadre, BJP workers and his own efforts and salute we must.

Sulking are the Congress, BSP, SP, NCP, AGP, JDU and the line grows bigger. But I will talk here just about the man Arvind kejriwal and his mission AAP! Why? Read below.

Before these elections, there were few people who believed that Mr. Kejriwal was the best alternative option for both Congress and BJP. Angry against the massive corruption of UPA; and BJP not in good book; they argued that should both the parties turn rogue, Arvind kejriwal was a ray of hope for the people of this country.

And today when the elections are over and for last few months have been passed with heated discussion on social sites where I vigorously defended why Narendra Modi led NDA should come to the power; I am more than happy. Not just that the anointed is going to be appointed as PM but for two other reasons as well:

1.   The Congress has been shown the mirror for what has it done to the country.
2.    The dissemination of much hyped Aam Aadmi Party which has somehow lost the actual plot it was initially created for and in true sense; misguiding the people.

However despite this, deep in my thoughts, I have a feeling like millions out there; that AAP has always good intentions for country and they must be continued to be live on for some more trial despite their crushing defeat in the Modi wave. The scope of  my intentions is here to analyse why once a meteoric rised party is grounded so soon and can they bounce back in near future?

Any organisation largely depends upon who is leading it from the front. Who is the face the organisation can cash on? Further, the numbers of these types of people in it is equally important. It reflects the capability of the organisation to face the tough challenges in coming times. Secondly, it is equally important what the organisational structure of the party is. It shows how much the party or the organisation has the regards for the hierarchical values to run successfully the party. Thirdly, what are the policies of the party in respect to national and international issues depending upon the party’s ambitions to be a regional player or a party like BJP or Congress.

I remember the month of Dec 2013 when there was an euphoria all around Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. The sound was so deafening that even the AAP could not  perhaps listen to the people who, as well wishers; tried to warn Kejriwal and party to keep their heads firmly over the shoulders and unheard rightly so, the same euphoria soon turned into nightmare when the expectations of people Delhi rocketed so sky-high that once Kejriwal was forced to abandon the ‘Janta Darbar’ midway to save his life. What a piece of poor planning it was? The leaders of AAP were at the verge of being mobbed as the media reported later in the evening. It was really a narrow escape. Still hopeful  the people were from AAP, though in backdrop, there was a little buried sense that why Anna, Ramdev, Kiranbedi, Gen VK Singh, Justice hegde and other people started to quit the movement and later Aam Aadmi party one by one.

Post elections in Delhi assembly, the way other leader of AAP created the ruckus on roads day and night,  and Kejriwal himself as a CM, it was realised/appeared that Arvind Kejriwal is the kind of guy who will tell me what is the problem but who is the one who would like to remain confined to the problematic side of problems not with the solution. Watching a chief minister on ‘dharna’ on the roads of Delhi was painful and it was a symbolic gesture of his values he had for the constitutional bodies of India. What was scored, Kejiwal and AAP know better but the writing has suddenly started to be visible on the wall.

Later it appeared, they did not learn from the mistake, I will use ‘he’ for ‘they’ because the image of party reflected that party was Arvind Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal was the party.  Mostly, he appeared like a college going student who goes for the annual college secretary election overzealously with big dreams in eyes. But this is not how the result are achieved because your tend to pedal your accelerator for quick rich scheme in achieving the results and unfortunately, this type of politics ends nowhere and impresses only few. AAP was behaving strange.

Qutting the CM on the concern of his failure to provide an effective ‘Janlokpal’ for the people of Delhi was something on which, he horribly went wrong. He tried his best wit to portraying  himself as a political martyred from that window waving his resignation and going on the record to say that ‘Aisee 100 CM kursiyan Kurbaan hain’. What an approach!! Had he said with modesty that he does not find himself suitable for the honourable chair of CM of Delhi for his failure in bringing ‘Janlokpal’; the message would have been altogether different. It is not just in politics; it is in every wake of life, that you should learn how to say what and when, at least in politics! Anyway by that time, the aam aadmi of country had become smart if not the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’, courtesy the mischiefs of Mr. Keriwal and party. The previous day’s darling media suddenly appeared ‘Bikaaoo’for him and later paid the price!

As an income tax department officer, his credentials were found below expectations. Had there been good record of his service in IT department, the story might have taken different turn. The collective message from the press statement of income tax department, interviews of his colleagues, being paid for the period he did not work, went viral and Arvind Kejriwal seemed scrounger to the core and the one who will go haywire when under pressure.
The biggest mistake of his life was that he took on Narendra Modi at personal level. It was one sided bad blood vendetta by Kejiwal. He did not bother what the mandate of even the people of Delhi was for him; when they would shout in his well packed gatherings with slogans ‘Kejriwal for CM..Modi for PM’. It was a crystal clear message for him back then that he should continue to build up in Delhi because the country fully knew, he was neither matured for the post of PM not well equipped to run a large country or organisation; leave aside to take on BJP or Congress.  He again went wrong when he appeared in very hurry to prove that nothing was right in Gujarat. It was hard to believe him that why, all of sudden for Mr. kejriwal, Gujarat became so important. More than focusing on the problems in Gujarat, he focused on the media to rely the news of Gujarat not doing well, round the clock. Remember his political stint when he on a broad daylight, out of nowhere, without any appointment, decided to meet the CM of Gujarat? God; where did his public consensus concept go then, which he used to repeat in his every second line in Delhi assembly elections?  Then, in Bangalore where on the first day, he found saying to ‘ask people of Varanasi for his candidature in Loksabha elections from Varanasi’ and the very next day in same Bangalore he said that he will contest elections from Varanasi and the consensus of people of Varanasi was no more required.

His approach for elections in Varanasi was pathetically negative. He was never there for his win rather he was there to ensure that the man, whom the mandate of people was for prime minister of this country, should loose. Wearing a cap of something written in Urdu for muslim appeasement, was the same old political gimmick other parties do. But this was never expected from the party which emphasised on the comman man who mostly stays neutralized from religion in day to day life and AAP was supposed to be above these cheap tricks. What a decision it was Mr. kejriwal, just to make someone loose? Playing poor pranks that ‘he was just a fakir’ was just not a good strategy considering that few days back you had submitted your affidavit of properties worth in crores. People do have short memories agreed, but not this shorter.

Honestly, in nutshell of all these build ups during entire campaign, Kejriwal appeared an individual confused and an immature person. He reflected an impulsive character. Such people are not very much suitable for the post of even an officer; PM or CM are from entirely a different league. Stability of mind is the key for decision making and Mr. Kejriwal so far went wrong in most of the decisions.

If I talk about the number of visionary people of the party, AAP seemed loaded with the individuals who might have excelled in any specific chosen field. Most of them appeared ‘social workers’ and ‘managers’; rather than ‘politicians’ who can take on the might of galaxies of leaders in BJP or veteran of Congress or any other political establishment. They may have ideas but implementation is altogether a different ball game; AAP leaders seemed untried and untested and more than anything else; unconvincing. You are tested to the limits and these gentlemen and ladies from AAP found giving impression of crumbling under tactics and challenges in their utopian dreams of changing the future course of India. The logic behind everything against AAP politically; was that they were not here for ‘Politics’ but to change the politics but funny part was that they were in this very politics as a naive.

The question for them will always be there: if they were not here for politics than what AAP stood for? And if they were here for politics which they definitely are in, when is their plan to learn politics?

They fielded more than 400 candidates India wide who were left for their fates because there was no such organisational structure in the party and thus no support from party. Just for the goodwill did you expect people to vote for you? AAP remained a bunch of few individuals with a boss at head with no regards for organisational structure and apathy for the women in power. At least that was the message people received when women leaders left the party one after another and people returning the ticket of party in a spree from various constituencies.

And with these achievements at hand, AAP believe to change this country and system; how intriguing!

Lastly, AAP seemed a headless chicken when it came on its national agenda. Each of the leaders of this party had his own agenda. When you have national ambitions, you have to project your views for each issue touching the core of the country. No foreign policy, no agricultural policy and with nil experience AAP was going national. What was your stand on infrastructure, jobs, poverty etc and what are your plans? It was never discussed by any of AAP leaders in any public forum; to say the least, it was never conveyed to us. Further to the nuisance of the party, your stand for free Kashmir was well known to every Indian and you expected the same Indian to vote for you for a separate Kashmir! What a hope sirjee!

The meteoric rise of AAP was a phenomenon one of its own kind. One election was sufficient to put this party in limelight but another election has brought it back to the knees. It will take years for AAP to restore the faith of the common man.  It was a missed opportunity and for some extend I am also angry with them for igniting the false hopes. However, I don’t see any immediate future of party because I don’t find any common point of interest among its leader.  They are already shaken to the core and there shouldn’t be any surprise if the exodus from the party initiates one more time. The party is new, and the morale is low. With scare resources what they had, was the faith of people in them which they have lost for good. It was a grand opening of AAP but it is equally a painful end with dark long night ahead.

Mr. Cameron say sorry to India for Jallianwala Bagh

For a moment please take a pause and visualise what you saw at Jantan Mantar Delhi in Anna’s movement against corruption. Think of that sea of people and think of this…
Imagine today that without intimation, without warning a police party comes to the place like this, in a rally or a demonstration where there are women ,children, elderly people…unarmed…peacefully demanding what they come for and suddenly
The police start firing indiscriminately…
Just within 15 minute all 1650 rounds are exhausted and the echoing ground is silenced with 1500 dead bodies…
It happened on same Sunday, 13 Apr 1919. Today but 95 years back in Jallianwala bagh, Amritsar Punjab. On that day, our forefathers were slayed and mutilated by a sadist general Dyer.
They were shot and they were not given a fair chance to defend themselves. They were deprived from the basic right to live the life which the God has given them.
They weren’t allowed to leave the place and they were not allowed to live even. They were killed just because all they wanted to have the independence from the British Raj on our own lands. Our children, women and elders were murdered from a man in uniform and from a country which considered its society as the most cultured and sophisticated one in the world.
On this day not one, not ten or not even 100, the satan stopped only when the live rounds exhausted and brutally murdered people numbered to 1500 in just 15 minutes. The criminal even had two canons with his platoon for maximum impact which could not be taken inside the ground because of the narrow gate. May be he wanted to uproot all the natural organics of that garden on that day within two minutes.
The today’s prime minster of Britain Mr. David Cameron musters the courage to visit the place after that fateful day in Feb 2013. In the visitor’s book all he writes was that it was shameful and that it should have not happened but never at a single time and place has he shown slightest of the remorse we the Indians truly deserve.
Dear Mr. PM, my 1500 forefathers were wiped out from earth within 15 minutes by 75 Baloch and Gorkhas under the command of your one monstrous ancestral and you haven’t guts to have a single sigh on this rarest mankind slaughter.
This day, I want from you, the prime minister and the queen of the British Empire, to officially express apology to us because I cannot stop crying when I listen this story of how my people were massacred.

Anna Hazare: How long?

Not first time in my generation, I saw people moving and not that first time I saw so many people united for a cause. Not far back, just remember the 26/11 terrorist attacks? We saw so many people angry and we saw what happened later.
But first time I saw people from all wake of life in India not only angry but I saw them on streets and roads as well. Whereas, in the case of 26/11, people were angry but they did not come on road compromising their jobs and routine tasks.  It was a pure government failure that those Pakistan sponsored terrorists barged into the financial capital of India, did the damage and we, the common Indians thought; may be this is the destiny of this country and preferred not to do anything spectacular. There were few demonstrations and frustration on the system. Few of the people marched with candles and debates ran in news channels but it did not touch the core of the heart of a common Indian and within a week the life returned to status quo.
Then the series of corruption scandals errupted on the horizon. Right from commonwealth games to 2G spectrum and a new scam often with each passing day, the list got bigger and bigger appearing never to end. People moaned again and again, complaining the agony in different forums but unfortunately the government already neck deep in those scams, by then already gone dump and blind, had not courage and will to fix the problems and as usual we were left to our fate which never seemed to change the course and the country India ….alas…Gandhi could see it.
Dear Bapu, perhaps nothing has changed in these 65 years! The dream you saw about this nation is dying slowly. The entrepreneurs who took the center stage in 1947-48 have their advanced DNA in present generation of politicians and bureaucrats who have forgotten what they were supposed to do. You were lucky Bapu, you preferred to close your eyes because you could have died otherwise with shame; how your few of fellow Indians are looting the country you fought for your whole life.
These are not the thoughts I am writing here something  different. Every Indian silently think of this and mourns. But when you are crying in heart, when you are bleeding onto the system and agonized because the life has become more difficult due to someone else and angry because you cannot do anything alone, you tend to surrender yourself to the God because that is the only entity where you find the true solace. And when this surrender occurs at a larger scale, it is meant to be answered, may be that is the reason why we pray in large groups, in mosques, Churches, pujas and in gurudwaras.
May be the silent prayers of millions of Indians were answered when a 74 year old and hardly known Kisan Bapat Baburao Hazare decided to rise against the goliath corruption. And people realized that he was the man they were waiting for. It was his one call, to rise up against the impossible and I see a phenomenon never happened before. The sea of people all around me could have not been moved on a fake cause. It seems that finally we have a Gandhi here who is truly for us and who can fight a war for us which just few days back, seemed a day dream.
It has already 11 days he is on fast and each passing day the movement is growing bigger and bigger. The BJP, left and few other parties seem to sit up and take the note of the mood of one and all but that is politics, not sure they are genuine, but the government has gone well beyond shamelessness whose prince appeared today after months only to doubt and criticise the demand of the same people who elected his party in power.
What a pity? Government does not sense that if the Janlokpal is the demand of the democracy what is wrong to put it on table? When 9 out of 10 people go with Janlokpal why it cannot be implemented if democracy means majority?
For last 11 days a 74 year old man is on fast and the policymakers who are in his age bracket have gone numb to realize how fragile an old body may be at this age? For most of his life, Anna has fought for someone else and been on fast regularly. Even if he has remained winner there, the fasts have taken their toll. He is not equipped with some supernatural powers. He is simply an ordinary human with extraordinary vision and determination but yes his body also demands same calories.
But as I said, already on 11 day on fast how long his body can push? He is already minus 7 kilogram and still counting.  Only determination alone cannot sustain the pressure on his starved organs.
I feel strange these days when I have my food on the table.  Every bite seems asking some uncomfortable questions? How it feels to be hungry for 11 continuous days whereas I started to crack in just one day that too at the age of 33!
Did government give a thought on it? Yes. It appears that they have taken Anna for granted. Perhaps they want to believe that Anna is used tosuch things. But have they considered for god sake; what if something goes wrong with Anna?  Do they realize what will be the consequences? Do they know it is a 74 year old body; a seasoned but more prone to organ failures? Will they take blame collectively? And how can you forget that at the same age when people respect each other more than anything else, an old man deserves more care and attention? Have Dr. Manmohan Singh, Kapil Sibbal, PranabMukherjee gone insane? How can they eat and sleep in such enormous situations?
For now, I want Anna to break his fast. It is making my life difficult with each new day. The primary objective has been achieved and let the fight be continued with a new strength.  It is not he should remain on fast for the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats, but have food for a common Indian who see a great crusader in him, a source of strength and want to see him healthy and smiling.
It was touching to see an arrested man this day shouting in parliament gate for Anna’s fast “ A man is on fast for last 11 days and nobody cares”: I felt my hair rising!!!!

Arnab Goswami brilliant so far!

Last decade has been a path breaking process for visual media and those 'Breaking news" have increased the interest level of people into the news and events. After Doordarshan era was over when NDTV was picking the pace to monopolise the English media; Timesnow TV arrived and along with people; NDTV   too found it out of race when a single man from timesnow changed whole the equations of journalism. His style of anchoring the shows and news has made him a popular figure among masses but same time few of the people are there who think his style is absurd and he must remain in his limits. At least that is what Congress people complaint of.
This is in respect of recently concluded TV show on Timesnow TV when a veteran Congress leader perspired in front of him and refused to answer his questions which so far did not happened in Indian journalism I suppose.
He replied that government is not answerable to Arnab Goswami but to Supreme Court of India ; but isn't it that before that, the government is answerable to the same people whose government it is and the same people whom Arnab is a part of.
A people's elected government is obliged to answer the questions of those voices who ask government on behalf of people, after all every individual is not in such position to ask such questions which are bound to baffle Mani Shankar Ayyer or Manu Shighavi because when people choose the government, they expect from such people to run the country neat and tight.
And look what Congress did to us? Inflation and scam after scams.......was that the people voted Congress for? And now if Arnab ask those questions which Mr. Ayyer has no answers (I am sure he hasn't; for the prime minister himself of this country has run out of answers) is it Arnab's or a commoner's fault to ask the questions?
Mind it you don't answer the questions it does not mean that the questions will vanish. They will continue to exit.
Bureaucracy wants a journalist to ask only questions which they had a thumping answer. If some question is tossed to them out of league which I call tough question, as  Arnab asks them; there are lot many people who will shout foul in the name of journalism on this issue.
If we go through the data of Arnab community on facebook as well as other social sites, you will find him miles ahead in terms of popularity which is because he represents and asks the questions of millions of common Indians whose voice often goes unheard and unattended.
Now this is something you can understand, I can understand and Arnab followers understand but the shameless government does not understand that they are more answerable to the people than SC.

A sport minnows called India

Joy of winning
How familiar these words sound to a sport enthusiast; Novak Djokovic, Nenad Zimonjic, Janko Tipsarevic, Ana Ivsanovic , Jelena Jankovic, Victor Troicki, Monika sales, and Jelena Dokic? And one more question what is the common thing among these players? Well, any tennis player or who follow tennis can easily make it out that these are the names from a country named Serbia; a small country located at the crossroads between Central and Southern Europe.
This must be a very special day in the history of the one of the least known countries to Indians, Serbia, for an extra ordinary feat they achieved this day by winning prestigious Davis cup tennis tournament which has a glorious 110 years history behind it. They are the new champions and truly deserving after beating France in a sea-saw battle of tennis in which Serbia made the history first time for it, when Victor Troicki crushed Michael Llorda in the final rubber in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
I am amazed with the success of the Serbia as a tennis playing nation.

Indian Army has blown the fuse

When I wrote in my previous posts about the corruption in Indian Army I have so many reasons to write that. I respect the feelings of the millions of Indian people who still regard Indian Army as an institution which emphasizes the value of honesty and a sense of duty. Despite the scams in Indian army in recent times, many of us continued to believe that the number of corrupt people in Army are numbered, contrary to which I do believe that since the organization system of Army is such that only few can corrupt, the anybody at that position has proved that Army has equally corrupt organisation of India. Just go through the post below which I happen to see this morning in the tehalka website and you will have another sigh ‘Oh no….Not again!’.

A Pakistani on a facebook forum!

Last night one of my colleague who was online, asked me why I was again back to blogging after such a long gap for which I hadn’t any immediate answer, however later on, when I mustered the thoughts I found it was due to my growing activities on facebook.com where I will be in ferocious discussions, left  often contended and satisfied, disturbed most of the occasions with a sense of emptiness and frustration and the blog is the ideal place to flush out your anger.
Last few days have been quite dramatic when we have these Pakistanis joined in a community called India! Jai ho! And where; they like many Pakistanis, are trying to be the caretakers of Kashmiris.
I had a thread of discussion, where I found these Pakistani responding with their full capacity.
One of them at most of the occasion appered running out of justifications, logics and clueless however he is very clear at one point. He wants us to believe that if Pakistan has a failed state, so has India.
I thought he would be in the forum with logics and suggestions but he was hell bend to prove his point where he wants to destroy India. Very natural as an enemy of the state India! The enmity continued to get bitter and bitter like our mutual inter-national, so to conclude that discussion I had following few lines to him and one and all Pakistani.
I hope it was hostility at it’s best provoked by a Pakistani.

The same old story of corruption

Gone those 1,76000 Crore rupees; courtesy to this man.
It is not very welcoming news which I am referring hereby as a ready recokner. This day of 01 Dec 2010, in the front page of a well known international newspaper of united state of America, the news is being published about the so called honest Prime Minister of India. A newspaper, which would tell the rest of the world except already knowing India, that how much corrupt our India has become, justifying our overall standing in transparency international index. And we the Indians, would perhaps give just one thought momentarily “who cares” or “India main aisa hee hota hai” and again busy in our life!!!What a fate this country has.

I never heard of this score!

This post is dedicated to the cricket lovers of this country. I am done with it; for the era has passed where my favourite players were playing for India. And I am not that kind of follower who loves cricket more than cricket player. For me, cricket player’s technique, his overall outlook, his class, consistency, was more important than cricket itself. So once the player is gone; cricket was gone for me.

Guys this news really brought smile on my face for the moment as I went straight in my childhood when we would play sort of ‘gully cricket’ on anyday and sometimes a full game won’t last more than half an hour. Or a team would hardly stand full 10 over’s match. Score would be funny and chase would often become funnier.

North eastern girls: Aliens in own motherland

Aren't we proud of  Mary Com the lady boxer of india from same
part of country which brings most glory to India in Asiad 10.
Few of us take thing for granted. Unfortunately the percentage is so big that I don’t want to attack on anybody on it personally.
It is about the attitude of rest of the Indians specifically the north Indian, for the Indians who are from the north eastern part of India. How shameful for us that we see the same Indians from two different aspects? Same country and one rates the equally qualified citizen as the second rated citizen. The trauma, North Eastern people go through in their own motherland leaves a serious question leaves to us the so called the “Real Indians”: Isn’t their demand for a separate country is not justified when the rest of India treats them like aliens in the country?

Last day a north eastern woman was raped in the “capital of rape of India” in an auto. The discriminations I have seen with them in my college day, the attitude I find in my fellow north Indian citizen for the people of seven sister states is enough to bow my head in shame.

Mandate Bihar: One tight slap to Congress and RJD-LJP

Nitish Kumar: Hum to jeet gaye guru; Aaapka haal aisa hoga socha na tha!
Even though the results of complete 243 seats of Bihar assemble are not out yet, NDA led by Mr. Nitish Kumar has already wrote on the wall: a land sliding victory, a never before mandate from the people of Bihar. A state which was always rated as Rawanda, Somalia and Haiti for rest of the Indian states and for which people would aused while saying this “ Bihar hai yaar! Kuch nahin ho sakta” and in the same Bihar I am writing about, till these lines been written; NDA has won clear majority in the house.
These results have very strong signals hidden. Lessons, the idiot politicians of this country are hardly willing to learn. Lesson which if understood properly could rule out any growth for the politicians who play Religion/ cast/ politics and who are corrupt upto the neck. Anyway, though the exit polls had already predicted the victory for NDA but the margin will be so much; did anybody think? Or may be they thought, were the organizers of exit polls were willing to show the defeat of Congress with required extreme courage? Remember Lalu Yadav few days back when he was fuming on the results on exit polls?Perhaps first time in history of Bihar when there was not a single incident of booth capturing/ firing/ other intentional mishaps except one on the last day of polls when a bomb exploded in a village planted by Maoist ( Only Arundhati Roy would justify perhaps why the bomb was planted), thus I want to congratulate to Mr. Nitish Kumar led NDA as well as the people from Bihar not just for the completion of election but few of the trend they clearly shown on these elections:

1. They proved that Dynasty ruling won't work any more.

Now here so called charismatic leaders won’t find big rooms enough to hide themselves behind the walls. One such leader who is being projected as the next prime minister of India by Congress could just MANAGED a single figure victory for Congress in Bihar. What a charisma you have had over the people Mr. Rahul Gandhi as I am told be those media newsreaders all these years and I am personally astonished to see the massive support behind you and your party in Bihar.

Indian Army sharing dais with corrupt politicians.

It is a bright morning here in Mumbai. At last; the rising Sun here makes me feel that it must be cold in north India in these early hours of the day. It is still hot in Mumbai, God knows when will winter knock. Personally I miss the winter of uttarakhand; the extreme cold when you can’t stop yourself sitting idle for hours in the cozy mornings and late in evenings with hot cups of tea time and again.

On leave for two weeks it feels great when you damn care what time you leave bed. But the tragic part is that such days are only numbered whereas most of the life, you keep on fighting for your rights and growth opportunities, which most of the people do legally whereas few illegally.

This morning it was very sad while going through “Times Of India” Mumbai edition. The place in the newspaper which proudly and exclusively meant for the politicians on this country had to make place for the once coveted general of Indian Army.

Reality show in India: India minus one life!

As I have written in my earlier articles as well; there are so many people around, who in the name of liberty for anything, don’t hesitate or do anything or say anything! One such prominent name recently I quoted was Ms. Arundhati Roy and in this chain the other name which was bound to add was of Rakhi Sawant; sooner or later!

Just going through the TV last night and newspapers this day I am shocked for someone took his own life because of the drama and scene created by this loudmouth dump who strongly believes that “ Jo dikhta hai wo Bikta hai” and who did not care that she should be knwoing what she was saying. Poor Laxman Prasad could not digest the humiliation from drama queen Rakhi Sawant on a show named “ Rakhi Ka Insaaf” ( Justice by Rakhi) and took his life within a week after appearing on the doomed TV. What a tragic end for someone who could not make out difference between reality and acting.

With love from Pakistan.

In the neighbouring country, it seems that every individual, from Ex president to an ordinary citizen, is obsessed with a single though for last 60 years. Even an Indian living far in Kanyakumari can feel that rotten, pungent smell of anger, frustration, hate, envy from the winds blowing from North West of India.
Sometimes often I wish to thank Pakistan for their promise to themselves to bleed India till death. It is kind of situation for us; you keep your things inaccessible from the rats at your home and house remains in order. As I said, Pakistan must be thanked for there relentless efforts to keep us in alert situations. Be it the border or the sponsored terrorism in India, we are forced to be vigilant round the clock.
That is the reasons for no love lost between two countries who had a common past but; future is certainly a distinguished one. The fools must be living in paradise who advocate for the friendship between us and they. They are living their Utopian dreams. One such prominent name is ‘Times of India along with “Jung” group who believe in friendship between the people across the borders. God knows how they must be generating revenues with this ‘Aman Ki Asha”?? The caption itself sounds funny; appears me as a marriage between some groom Aman with bride Asha!!
A common Pakistani won’t ask for friendship nor would a true Indian step forward until unless they forget Kashmir and terrorism respectively.
As I said earlier they shared a common past but futures have altogether going to be a different story. Within one year you would further listen the news thousand bomb blasts in Pakistan executed by some home grown fanatic groups and you may listen thousand Billion Dollar investments in India and who knows a UNSC seat!

Thank you Barack Obama for instilling confidence in US!

There could have not been any better sweet in this Deepawali for India other than these words of United State’s president Mr. Barack Obama “The just and sustainable international order that America seeks includes a United Nations that is efficient, effective, credible and legitimate, That is why I can say today - in the years ahead, I look forward to a reformed UN Security Council that includes India as a permanent member”
Perhaps these were the words we could have waited for another dozens of years for I have been watching Indian leaders pleading for a permanent seat in the United Nation Security council on behalf of we the Indians; which went to deaf ears for years till the day arrived finally when the saccharin flew from the second most powerful man on the planet in favour of us.
I did not summarised  the overall  achieved objectives  of India, till last day when I happen to visit a jealous neighbour’s newspaper webpage which made me realized that we had struck gold.
As Ben Rhodes, a deputy US national security advisor, says  that the intention of the United States was clear, and based on India’s emerging role as a great strategic, economic and democratic power. This implies that the present president visit was not mere a business visit as most of the Indians had anticipated including me. He gifted us more than the expectations. A possible UNSC seat, Pakistan bashing, No Kashmir mediation,  technological support, love for Indianism, praise for Indian spirit what else we could have asked for from a guest?
Though the permanent seat seems a distant one dream but; at least the ball seems rolling  now after the assuring words from Barack Obama; who further implies to the emerging India as a force to reckon with and  Mr. President himself  admits  that  "In Asia and around the world, India is not simply emerging; India has already emerged,"
Those were the convincing words from a already convinced powerful entity; for years we have been begging for a recognition which we understood only in the recent years that it is only your deeds; karmas which lead you to the point which further lets you know what the destiny has for you to offer. Today when the US is convinced that we have finally emerged; the journey ahead is not as easy as it looks; as Obama does not forget to add "with increased power comes increased responsibility," and he is absolutely right.

Indian Army lost the reputation, values and ethos.

Perhaps this was the best gift we could offer to the most powerful man on earth on the eve of Deewali as the US president Mr. Barak Obama is visiting India in the same city from where a new scam is brought to the notice of people of India.

This is not new news if you know that India, as the 87th standing nation corrupt free nation in the “Transparency International report; has further slipped 3 placed below from last year. But news may that the belief of a common man has entire shaken on the involvement of the top brasses of Indian army and Navy in the “Adarsh Scam (sorry….Housing) Society. Scams after scam have beyond the point proven that today Indian army has become the most corrupt organisation in India. A million plus strong and second largest in number only behind to China, the organisation has fallen to the generals who did not speared their own martyrs who lost their lives for a cause known as “nation first” and for a cause that their generals could live a comfortable lives. And our generals did respond this way. They occupied the flats which were meant for the widows of those martyrs.

Pseudosecular Arundhati Roy

So here is one more anti national element nay sophisticated element who has the luxuries to say that Kashmir was never a part of India. Even three days have not passed that I wrote to ignore few of the pseudo seculars in media including Arundhati Roy; she would deliver it so prompt, I never thought it frankly; but she said what I have always been suspecting her for.

I will say smart, really smart. She knew how to maintain the falling TRPs of fan followings after being awarded Booker. You know; poor India has given the liberty to any one for anything. Be it sympathy to maoists or it is a seminar in the capital of the country on how to divide the same country the seminar is on; she knew how to be generate media waves. Perhaps that is the fate of the country that whosoever is here; can spit anything, anywhere. Arundhuti Roy is one such example for whenever she opens her mouth, it’s all free for her and it is because she is in India. Her support to naxalites, terrorists and antinational elements has gone much beyond any nation can ignore and bear. Till date she has only criticism, but no alternative solutions.

By my finishing these lines; she would already have a big fan following in Pakistan. As expected so many pakistani newspapers have published her statement with full praise for her. I doubt if she has ever guts to say the same lines about Baluchistan or about the discrimination towards minorities in that country where bomb blasts in mosques of Shias, Ahmadias are so frequent that till this article finishes off; I bet, one blast would have already taken dozen lives in that hell which she is recommending to kashmiries. Already much damage has been done by the so called visionaries (Read Jawahar Lal Nehru) and here is one more attention seeker who won’t hesitate to put the country’s pride at stake in order to get international praise and recognition.

Poor Arundhati, she seems not aware about catastrophe brought by cruel kashmiri terrorists and heroism/sacrifice of our security forces who strive for normalcy. If Kashmir is lost, next may be Punjab, again part of UP, Bihar, Bengal, Kerala and ultimately leading to disintegration of India? How many countries would you ask for madam? Will we remain the same people who have always proud on the diversified fabrics of our nation, its unity and integrity?

She seems forgotten that just 1 million kashmiris want separation and One billion want Kashmir to be in India. In every state, every country, there will be instances of rebellion - there will be dissatisfied factions. Such a vast country with over 1 billion people there will always be built up of groups of people with different ideologies. Granting each of them freedom will no longer leave a nation state further intact. It's a precursor to many other similar independence protests - naxals, maoists would find the perfect example. The infighting would continue - civil war would rule, economies would be destroyed, camaraderie would be compromised. So what would be her suggestion  for it?

Enough is enough. I sincerely suggest influential people should think before making such irresponsible statements and speeches. Time has come that; freedom of speech must be reviewed and curtailed if necessary.

And For Arundhati Roy, if you are not; which you will never be I suppose, I am ashamed that I share the same tag of  “Indian” with you and unfortunately you are a Booker winner while I am not.

Incredible Indiah!

Mounal in front of the cat made by ear buds.

It has been a talk of the town “The Times Utsav” ( Times Festival). I was planning to be the part of it for last 10 days and pain in the neck with any festival or exhibition is that they run hardly more than 10 days, so if you were planning to visit to such festivals or anything like this, you will have to take decision within those 10 days to be there or stay at home. How unjustified! As per me they should continue throughout the year and you should have the freedom to choose any day as per your calendar.
From last fortnight, in my newspaper “The Times of India”, I will have a glance on this advertisement and I would make up  my mind to visit the place “Bandra Kurla Complex”; the nucleus of Indian financial activities, everyday and that  day did not turn up till today.
It was not that I did not want to go but you know, it is always the morning when you plan that you will visit place in the evening and the evening seems far away at that point of time. And to tell you, the sultry and oppressive afternoons of Mumbai in the most of the months never lets you out once you creep into your inviting bed ; which looks you with great anticipation and expectations after your gourmet lunch.
Here it is behind "King Kills"
Today was Armageddon I thought; for it, as it was the last day and I had to either visit this much hyped festival or the remorse was going to eat me up till next big occasion around, I was sure. So after an uncomfortable afternoon nap, I jerked my wife, Sonal if she wished to be at the festival with me. Her response reminded me my maternal grandfather who did not cared what I was talking back in my teen aged days ; God know how rejected I felt back then. But when I suggested her that she may also get an opportunity to have some cosmetics and fashion sort of things, I could easily sense the springs at her back and ground beneath her feet seemed missing to me.
Anyway we were there. As expected, I could feel the vibrant environment there. Well organized event I would say. I saw how India was changing. New technology for new India or capable India; An India which has become a lucrative market for numberless MNC’s . Anyway, right from the entry I could smell the pungent perfume flavoured with the smell of money. The money has its own charm, no one can escape from it; you, I or Mr. Lalit Modi. These are the places you show off your purchasing capabilities you see.  Basically I am sort of guy who loves to watch what technology has to offer us new things and gadgets, it is as simple as that. I did not see as such, however I could feel the refinement of technology here beautifully. Those gigantic TV screens were inviting and I knew I won’t buy them perhaps. Designer clothing was at it’s best but I pretended I was comfortable with my sweet “Peter England”.
It was actually "Smoking kills" the whole skull is made of Cigarette packets.
I tried to look sophisticated and I did act beautifully. But these phony situations will make you face situations when you will run out of solutions. I was alert for such unwanted situations because there were occasions I was trapped in such bizarre situations and only the God saved me from those highly energised salesmen. I remember, I could feel the husk in their voices which could have been the result of those endless presentations they made irrespective of the result.
Here were two occasions noteworthy which, I did not believe could cost me energy to work out how to unleash myself from the claws of  that old sale techniques. It was a stall offering the educational materials for the kids. I saw towards my daughter Mounal who was leading the way like a new knight of herd. I knew her zeal, her sense of humour and her quality of leadership. She is always restless child searching for something. A student of Kindergarten, she is always searching for answers, logics and often I went out of answers. So this stall must be end of problems, I assumed. Moreover; the product was from Germany, I was willing to have a look into it, as I always admired Germany from the era when Boris Becker won his first Wimbledon. You might have also gone through this phase of life; without any reason, there will always few countries and places you would admire. It was a package of books and mind games; well deserved to have one if you have a super smart kid back at home.
The guy who attended me, seemed as if he was just out from ‘Uniross” charger. He explained me everything in such a way that I thanked him for possible end of my problems when I would confront my daughter’s unanswerable questions.
And the smart guy hawked my interested eyes and when I asked the price of  the package, I felt a shrill thunder down my spine when he uttered  “Only $ 800”. I regained my composure immediately. What he did not know that my daughter was in a school where she was getting a quality multidimensional education with an annual fees of $ 300! And see; this guy was trying to sell me a set of 12 books and two set of games for whopping $ 800. I don’t know was he doing his job or he did not calculate that I was not the real buyer. I asked him if they had any outlet in Mumbai; a smart move enough to unclutchedElectrolux, Eureka Forbes, Amway, Tupperware etc. Those are simply hyped and I am immediately cautious not to loose my money onto these.
Inconvenience regretted for it was just 3.2 MPxl cell phone camera.
The irony and funny happening was the situation when he saw my face after he told the price tag… I had a face like a monk.
You see whereas  was busy in my thoughts that how to get rid of the situation and seller, he was to the conclusion that I was thinking how I am going to pay; in cash or EMI! Guys guess how could  I am here; safe to share this experience with you.!
With a personal embarrassment which I did not share even with Sonal, I moved to another stall.
The second situation happened when I moved to another stall which, at first glance looked of the books. The moment I entered, one uncle charged to me asking me if I knew “Gujrati’’ ? “No hope” I replied. I am a typical north Indian and understand only Hindi and to some extend it’s dialects. He was a warm guy; at least professionally I must say. Before suggesting me the books he had a great lecture of vision of life in front of us; the two innocent people. By the time he finished, I had already realised that I am the person at wrong place at wrong time. He recommended me a book on how to control the mind. I thought he was suggesting me correct book for; if I could have controlled my mind I would not had been at that stall at first place. Further he asked me if I would like to read that book in Hindi or English to which I asked in which language the book was written originally; for I always felt that the actual flavour of book flourishes in the language it is written in. The cunning guy shouted with exclamation “Sir, you are the first man who asked me this question that in which language the book was originally written.” I could not figure it out whether it was a genuine admiration or a sales technique but I felt proud on myself for tossing him such a smart question; I definitely felt.  I ended up there with a forced type purchase of book not for self-help but it was the price I paid for being to their stall.
This went on another two hours and after grueling three hours, we were in the so called fresh air which is always a messed up gases of Mithi river ( Nulah!) and fumes of diesel and other hydrocarbons in Mumbai!
Dharavi, the largest slum of Asia was nearby, On the way passing through Dharavi, I had a mixed feeling. Here was a vibrant India, full of endless opportunity where a seller was confident enough to sell you his product which would cost you $ 800 and for whom there were definitely people around who would buy this product just for their children without giving a second though to it. And here in Dharavi there are people who would earn that invaluable $ 800 in a full year.
This is why India is incredible you know!!
