Thank you Barack Obama for instilling confidence in US!

There could have not been any better sweet in this Deepawali for India other than these words of United State’s president Mr. Barack Obama “The just and sustainable international order that America seeks includes a United Nations that is efficient, effective, credible and legitimate, That is why I can say today - in the years ahead, I look forward to a reformed UN Security Council that includes India as a permanent member”
Perhaps these were the words we could have waited for another dozens of years for I have been watching Indian leaders pleading for a permanent seat in the United Nation Security council on behalf of we the Indians; which went to deaf ears for years till the day arrived finally when the saccharin flew from the second most powerful man on the planet in favour of us.
I did not summarised  the overall  achieved objectives  of India, till last day when I happen to visit a jealous neighbour’s newspaper webpage which made me realized that we had struck gold.
As Ben Rhodes, a deputy US national security advisor, says  that the intention of the United States was clear, and based on India’s emerging role as a great strategic, economic and democratic power. This implies that the present president visit was not mere a business visit as most of the Indians had anticipated including me. He gifted us more than the expectations. A possible UNSC seat, Pakistan bashing, No Kashmir mediation,  technological support, love for Indianism, praise for Indian spirit what else we could have asked for from a guest?
Though the permanent seat seems a distant one dream but; at least the ball seems rolling  now after the assuring words from Barack Obama; who further implies to the emerging India as a force to reckon with and  Mr. President himself  admits  that  "In Asia and around the world, India is not simply emerging; India has already emerged,"
Those were the convincing words from a already convinced powerful entity; for years we have been begging for a recognition which we understood only in the recent years that it is only your deeds; karmas which lead you to the point which further lets you know what the destiny has for you to offer. Today when the US is convinced that we have finally emerged; the journey ahead is not as easy as it looks; as Obama does not forget to add "with increased power comes increased responsibility," and he is absolutely right.
Even if he did mention the word “K” never at any point of time it smelled foul. It seemed that he was genuinely interested in the solution of Kashmir problem but without American intervention. This was really appreciable for; we Indians have always suspected the intensions of previous US presidents except him.  After all no business leader can talk business to his clients  for more than 35 minutes until unless he is not genuinely interested in his client. Barack Obama was on a mission for creating 50,000 jobs for the fellow Americans to alleviate the US economy in which he was complete successful when he signed the deals of  $ 10 Billion; but more than that it was a win-win situations for both the parties.
More than anything else India needed was the international recognitions as I wrote earlier also, came from not lesser than the US itself. Thought it may be a symbolic move to counterbalance the China effects; even than the support on UNSC seat will be a landmark declaration from the US, which will further bring closer the world’s two largest democracies.  Obama spoke about Mumbai carnage, cross border terrorism, Indian democracy, India’s expected and possible roles in south Asia and world forums and also on the subjects which his predecessors did not. It was heartening to listen from him about Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand, Panchtantra (I was amazed!) and last but not least “Jai hind”.  Either it must be a great piece of homework or it was a genuine appraisal for a power which is yet to touch the summit.
For me it was a gesture of goodwill from him, for not seeing the single paper in those 35 minutes only because he looked into those veteran Indian eyes with great conviction. He appeared interested in India. He spoke his mind not the diplomacy.  He won not just mine but the remaining billion hearts which only he could have as Barack Obama; the phenomenon which sent America crazy when he got elected as president.
Bright opportunities appear ahead but we need to keep on reminding ourselves that it was our endeavour that we have been able to get us recognized internationally,  and it will be our confidence  in ourselves that will further open the new gates  of  being “Vishwaguru”.
Before finish, I just wished to ask our politicians/president/ Prime minister can they too deliver something full of vision this president delivered in our own yard and that too non stop for  35 minutes without referring documents?
And also now when Obama talked about Pak sponsored terrorism clearly; how will you eat your words Mr. Rajeev Pratap Rudi?
