Why people love to hate Kejriwal?

A lot has been changed since 2012. At least for Arvind Kejriwal.

He was termed as a wave, even before I knew about 'wave' from my 66 year old father to which he told me back then; it is something like when Indira Gandhi Juggernaut stormed parliament with 352 Lok Sabha seats in year 1971; a wave that swept almost everything.

Fast forward 2011, like my many friends I also, headed to Aazad Maidan Mumbai on 09 Aug, to express my solidarity with Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal, in a hope of getting rid of rusting and smearing gutter of Indian political system. What a charismatic Arvind Kejriwal appeared to us back then!!

His tiny stature, oversized and offcoloured shirt and profusely sweating forehead were enough to convince me. I immediately found myself connected with 'this man'. He won us hands down. I found my hero perhaps and naive I was that I thought; finally India will be liberated from corruption. Period. The idea has arrived; only the implementation was the leftover part.

Alas..had that been so easy! Alas had he been so!

I quote above Arvind Kejriwal 'this man' because that is where my answer lies beneath why Arvind Kejriwal failed.

The appeal of Kejriwal was so immense; it was so huge and so overpowering.  The aura appeared never lasting. Who could have thought back then; the guy will rigorously tested by mind blowing slaps, zooming past shoes and indelible ink? The journey doesn't end here, still. He keeps on getting one or two meanwhile.

He is now one of the most hated individual entity in Indian political scenario and his journey from summit to nadir has been swift and in a relatively very short period of time. Even, Tiger Woods would be astonished on his fall.

To me, the reason why people love to hate Kejriwal is not because most of the people are Modi followers as on date. Narendra Modi is an extraordinary leader and politician. He is the movers and shakers of the real politics from his student days. He is a fox, kind of super grand master of squared game of power, always one step ahead from rest of the pack, deceptive, accurate and precise.

A office goer, a daily wager, a mother or a shopkeeper doesn't understand the complex and boring political equations of the mix of Indian casteism, nationalism or religious alignment. They want to find the immediate connectivity with; be a man or an issue. We have seen that; people going to ‘Jantar Mantar’ on corruption with Anna, seen millions of people on roads across the cities and towns post 26/11 carnage, witnessed ‘Gherao’ on ‘Nirbhaya’. People are basically emotional and  Modi understands the nerve of the people like a seasoned doctor.

Kejriwal has never been a match to the acumenship of  Narendra Modi. Rather; he was just a manifestation of the anger of the masses against the rampant corruption of Congress raj which was storming whole country with progressive massive buildups on one corruption on daily basis.

May be he didn’t understand the subject much  but his approach at that point of time against a very sensitive issue to the core of the heart of ‘Aam Aadmi’ was  extremely well timed. He was relatively smarter in manipulating the emotions of the people and some socially well accepted names. His crusade against corruption was so impeccable that his aura appeared something out of the standard political and social norms in contemporary politicians and even well-established czars of politics found  themselves in hot water. Suddenly, he became the echo of the voice of almost every heart of the country, something which Narendra Modi will also taste 2 years later sweeping the general elections through a complete one man show.

What an opportunity this man Arvind Kejariwal had then to turn himself into a real messiah!  But it wasn't there. Perhaps it hadn't to be there.

Then Delhi elections happened and from here is when Kejriwal started to commit blunders after mistakes.

In the past he had told people that he was an ordinary guy amongst us, like us. People did not believe him because an ordinary man never crusades against the system. We believe he has to be above us like a Mahatma Gandhi or a Martin Luther King or a Nelson Mandela.  Ironically, he actually was a common guy. Like all of us, impulsive, greedy, foul mouthed, scrounger with no vision and accusing 0like a child everything, everyone but other than he, himself.

It takes a lot of endurance and efforts to carry forward on your image and sometimes it takes years and it becomes even more difficult when you discover; you are a celebrity overnight. You have to look carefully for what you say and how you say so. That is why you see no authority speak in a haste. That is understood, they chew every sentence, word by word.

Unfortunately, Arvind Kejriwal turned out to be a hoax call. A big zero and a megalomaniac. His modus operandi turned into plain 'his way or high way' and it was happening in broad day light for everyone to see. He is corrupt, he is opportunist and he is cunning. At least that was something a message gone well deep to the very people who believed in him, including mine. The cracks started to appear in the spotless image of the crusader and irritation started to build up.

But this was not new in our political system. It happened previously also. Indira Gandhi was example; equally corrupt and megalomaniac. Even some of his contemporaries are like him even today. Jayalalithaa, Mamta Banerjee, Vasundhara Raje Sindhiya, Nitish Kumar, Akhilesh Yadav to name a few. So why witch-hunting only against him? Why people bully Kejriwal so much, so often than any corrupt or unpopular leader?

Answer is the frustration of the people with themselves for making a wrong choice back then. They expected every damn thing from every politician but Kejriwal. Their hate to Kejriwal is the outcome of their failed desire of a corruption-free India where the bride ran away even before marriage could be culminated. They considered him pure and clean.

Kejriwal disappointed them with his senseless decisions. He turned himself in these years as a joke even though he was given the benefit of doubt for being him a new comer; incident after incidents. He did not mend the way and even today, it is an anger within self how this fool could fooled us in the name of a 'change' and reached to the Chief ministership of Delhi. In a sense, the anger and hate is the reflection of defeat that Kejriwal could 'con' public at large and it really vents out in his abhorrence.

Alas he could have sensed what the artifacts were stored for him along the journey had he taken right steps and of course; in right direction. He could have done the real 'Modi' even before Narendra Modi actually arrived in Delhi. He could have had a mass followings had he carried himself carefully and judicially.

Once Modi was in the helm of affairs in the power corridors of Lutyens zone, Kejriwal lost the cause and zeal entirely and became true to himself; a complaint box and like any other politician. He got disoriented damaging further to himself only; by a futile battle against an ever enlarging Narendra Modi. He has become a butt of joke where people will find it amusing if Kejriwal missed any day cursing Modi and Modi staying a well calculated; completely ignorant.

People did not wait for him. Most of them have found a new hero in Modi. This further turned out to be a supplementary cause to hate him to the core by the people who are known as 'Bhakts'; last I knew.

What a lost opportunity Mr. Arvind Kejriwal...!!

Biased english media in India.

When Godhra happened where were you? I bet even if you remember the date of that unfortunate incident!! Most of us were not in Gujarat during the time of riots, I suppose. So, we were dependent on the media for informations and news be it print or visual. With India becoming a global economy, the trend is that we are more inclined on news from english media mostly and it is undisputed fact that the media specifically English one is anti BJP, raising doubt often; may be those are probably been paid by the anti-India forces or Congress and its non-indian leader.

This morning when I opened the web, the headlines of one of most read newspaper in India, ‘The Times Of India” has the heading that chief minister of Gujarat Mr. Narendra Modi presided Gujarat riots (Then deputy Home minister Gordhan Zadafia told this to SIT , a fact finding body appointed by supreme court.) The heading appeared like screaming and as if it was the verdict from the Supreme Court of India. De facto, this was mere a statement given by then junior home minister.

If we talk about those riots; It is the duty of a chief minister to remain in touch with police officials to control the riots. Mr. Modi was successful in controlling the riots within few days in which people from both communities died in police firing and mutual clashes, after the riots were initiated followed by burning of people inside a train at Godhra.

True, whoever has done unconstitutional, should be highlighted in the interest of country and society and should be brought to the justice. But it must  not be in the interest of any person or a party. Times of India, NDTV are few of those rogue news media who have been on a mission of highlight anything which could alive the ghosts of Godhra in order to marginalise Narendra Modi,  perhaps due to jealous of his miraculous  rise and unparalleled leadership ability ! Just few things I thought, did they even highlightened that Gujarat has been the most growing state of India under Mr., Modi’s leadership? Or do they write or quote  Mr. Modi's recognitions internationally or his popularity despite such intensified critics? Do they justify Modi's stand on personal attack on him by the lady from Italy and Congress? Did they have such coverage on 1984 Anti sikh riots? Did they write anything on last day’s assembly when separatist leaders from Kashmir were having a seminar under the government nose in very Delhi? Nay.

I thought to share one thing for sure. Let us read those news and go through their analysis but it is to be ensured that we should keep in mind that, there are few educated, hyped, aggressive and so called progressive people around, taking secularism for granted and free to air their personal views and whom you should judge by yourself; be it Times Of India, NDTV, it’s anchor Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai from IBN7, Tista Setalvad, Arudhuti Roy to name a few. Let us be progressive but let not our minds be wiped away by these partial idiots in our quest of being called as modern!

RSS is likely to be banned........I think.

So as expected from Mr. Rahul Gandhi, he came to the level which I have been anticipating sooner or later. These days the trend of criticism in Congress has gone so nadir that whatever they do or say doesn’t surprises me at all as the pain in the neck with Congress has been identified around RSS and this is something they just can not throw away.

Not much time has passed when Congress chief Smt. Sonia Gandhi, the president of Congress personally attacked on Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Naredra Modi calling him as “Merchant of death”. It was just surprising for whole the nation as she got so much personnel with Mr. Modi that she forgot from which podium she was talking. Such are the leaders then damn care followers. Remember Mrs. Reeta Bahuguna in last Loksabha elections?

Unable to bear Ms. Mayawati anymore in UP, Rita Bahuguna offered Ms. Mayawati if Ms. Mayawait could have been raped what would she felt? Kudos dear Reeta Bahuguan you wrote a new chapter in congress history like your torchbearers.

Now I wonder who wrote the speech for Mrs. Sonia Gandhi that she could not avoid the temptation of calling the names of Mr. Narendra Modi. Remember he was CM at that time too and any CM deserves some preset level of respect. And as a president you are restricted to say something which you feel in person. But President forgot all this. Fact is that she could not bear the mass appeal of Mr. Modi in Gujarat for last decade. Congress did not mind to write him as “Maut ka Saudagar” nor she hesitated to call him so. May be Mrs. Sonia can call it as slip of toung, after all she has a poor Hindi despite so many years living in India.

Mr. Abhishek Manu Singvi has a slippery toung as well and only he knows what he will deliver in very next moment. But here I must congratulate Congress for removing him from the position of spokesperson for Congress due to that Kerala lottery case.

Now here he comes, Secretary of Congress Mr. Rahul Gandhi who equates RSS with SIMI! It is kind of allegation; something which will leave you speechless. Now just for the moment I thought how many years of history RSS has and how many years SIMI has been visible around?

What have been the objectives of RSS and what have been of SIMI do I need to elaborate? What role RSS has played whenever the country was in hot water due to natural cause or the man made and what operations SIMI has carried so far? What is the vision of RSS and what is of SIMI; thought except Mylayam Singh Yadav everyone knows. It is well known about RSS that they are engaged in many social, service charity, and relief works, and engaged in inter-community dialogues, as well as actively participated in the political process. They are well-organized and being run beautifully in approachable places; unlike those clandestine places in India from where SIMI recruits the terrorists.

And lastly what is the standard of mass appeal of RSS and the number of followings in RSS and what of SIMI?

For most of the people RSS is a Hindu organization and SIMI a terrorist organization. RSS has guts to operate in your nearby parks or grounds but SIMI is fully BANNED organization. As their Secretary has equated RSS with SIMI why not they ban RSS too or  why doesn’t Congress proposes for lifting the ban on SIMI by the way?

And here is one funny guy (Ohh Sorry he is General Secretary of Indian national Congress ) telling this country that SIMI and RSS are EQUAL.

Dear Congress.

Dear Congress, much water has flown through Thames; from 1947 when you started your political journey as the caretaker of this great country. Once a mighty political organization when turning into pieces; sometime you have to think philosophically, particularly when you are losing. Remembering those golden days?? But you don’t lose hope and it keeps you fighting, knowing you are losing the ground rapidly. Yes! I am talking from the pages of history about your that time when you were ruling not only on this country but the heart of the billions of people living here.

Slowly you saw changes in those people, whom you were beloved to. You started to loose; to the extent that you not only lost respect of people but the power too. In the course you lost few of your key leaders. I will say they were sacrificed to save you and till today you are breathing.

Now what will you do from here on? No Indira Gandhi no Rajeev. With an honest man in Manmohan Singh, I doubt how long will you push? How will you overhaul yourself? How?

I was not matured enough to feel the aura of Indira Gandhi but I am told that she was really a force to reckon with. The biggest asset as I am told, she had was her ruthlessness. She never spared anyone who went against her will. Then came Rajeev Gandhi, a great admirer of modernization who has seen his mother how to operate and execute. But he was one of them whom terrorism took as it’s toll in it’s initial phase. Had he been today you would have been in far better situation. Coming at present all I will say; Congratulations that you somehow completing your 5 years of reign. Time has come, you will have to fight again to come to centre as you have been doing so. But the people like me will fight that you do not come again.

It is enough dear Congress. We are sick of you. It is not that I want BJP or any other party here but if it is to choose any of one I will go for a thief rather than a dacoit.

As a citizen when I look back to the growth of my country I find lot many things to joy and sorrows. And you will agree that in these 60 years you have been the policy makers of this country so as a whole you are answerable to what was achieved and what we lost.

First of all accept that we are here still as a third world country because that is where we are actually right now. By telecasting the news of our Chandrayaan mission, the basic problem of education does not sort out. If you talk about our increasing economic growth, here we are increasing rapidly in numbers too. Each year as you already know; we are adding Australia in our demography. Corruption has become our way of life. Think about outsourcing of MNC to our country and tell us the solutions of unemployment growing with that alarming pace? May I ask why so far you have not been able to solve these basic problems?

Very soon you will be in front of us begging for vote. Ok what is your agenda this time?? Will you talk about growth? Secularism? Unemployment? Poverty?

Then do tell us where inflation is right now? Well, last time you were in front of us telling us that you have best in business in the form of Dr. Manmohan Singh and P. Chidambaram? What went wrong Dr. Manmohan Singh?Ohh!! The crude oil soared high that is why Inflation also shooting up? Fine. What is there as of now? Crude oil has come down to $105 from $152 why not inflation?

You lost Mr. Rajeev Gandhi in a blast what was that? Terrorism, right? Still your leaders seem not learned from that mistake? On the eve of 2nd Oct there are 5 blasts in Agartala. What went wrong? What about Jaipur, Malegaon, Surat? How are they going to explain the blasts in Bangalore, Ahamadabad or Delhi? When a “aam aadmi” not sure about his life do you still deserve to come again in power? Why for God sake don’t you think that blaming BJP will not work in a long run? Don’t your leaders understand how many state elections they have lost to BJP and regional parties in recent years? Do you still feel your secularism still appeals people? Do you feel terrorism is such a small issue?

You remember your H’ble home minister Mr. Shivraj patil giving a statement after a terror attack in J&K “that terrorists are our brothers”. Please tell your home minister that they can be brothers of Congress but never of mine or any “aam aadmi” whose life is at stake when he goes out. Brothers of Congress!! Because none of your leaders disagreed with him. Do you feel that he still deserve to stay as a home minister? Sorry, what can you expect from a tired, oldman?

When will you dear Congress come out of the shadow of a family? How long will it continue? How can you expect that there is another Indira in Priyanka? Why do you feel that Congress, a party of people, can run best by a lady who does not have appeal at all? Just let me know how come a lady who had not interest in this country at all, suddenly adapted it as motherland? Do you feel that people are convinced with this justification? How much she had interest in this country her funny Hindi speeches tell.Shouting in front of mike can’t hide the fact that if decades of years could not make to you learn the mothertongue, either you don’t have the interest or you haven’t even average mind.

Or you are waiting for Rahul Gandhi? Are you, yourself convinced that he has a aura or potential to be the prime minister of this county? Does he possess the fire within to lead this difficult country? Can he match likes of Narendra Modi? Sorry dear Congress, he seems a very ordinary guy like me. As a good citizen no doubt he may be a good man but to be a PM, I do not feel him as a strong prospect. Had he that aura of a future PM his “yatras”would had fetch you results in the state elections but you are empty handed. So what other options you are left with?

Are you considering go among people with your success on atomic deal? To tell you frankly, I do not know much about it and I doubt how many people knowing this? Your leaders told that it is such an issue, that can’t be discussed publically. It was hyped as a success and ultimately you got it. Congratulations, here is really a genuine reason to celebrate. But dear Congress, in these many years you have lost respect to the extent that everyone doubt of deal to be a fair one. It is unfortunate for you that if today someone is considering this deal in favour of nation it is not because of you. It is very simple for me. This deal must be good because China has opposed it and Pakistan wants the same deal. It is not because Congress did some extraordinary things.

So my dear Congress beware of your future. Inject some instinct in your leaders. Let them have some vision for this country. You can not fool us for a long? How long will you play the game of minority satisfaction where too, you are losing to ordinary leaders likes of Mayawatis. Think beyond these local leaders, it will never let you achieve your dreams for god sake if you think of this country as your own. Recruit some visionaries. Be firm on your decisions. Rise above religion politics and so called secular image you want to be labeled as. Take few tough decisions.

And last request please come out of the family tree. Please!!! Or you perish!
