Last night I had a chat with a Muslim from Pakistan who was working in Australia. Idea of chatting at the early hour of morning 2 AM was not planned rather it was just a hit randomly on someone to relax the mind when this gentleman met me online. I have been a bit curious to know about how the people of the rest of the world think of this country.
Since this month has been a volatile one for India as the clashes in Jammu and Kashmir post Shri Amarnath Shrine Board land controversy has reached to a new summit where the communal violence has been marring the state. I wanted to know how a normal Muslim think of it. Later the chat automatically turned towards a new direction where the topic converted to religion.
This gentleman “educated” Muslim is settled in Australia, is basically from Islamabad. So I had a feeling that beyond a point an educated Muslim can never go fanatic. Even though WTC mastermind Mohammad Ata or any other educated terrorist, I never willed to learn that an educated Muslim can ever go fanatic about religion.
I am sorry if some Muslim sentiments are being hurt. They can very well figure out that I am a Hindu. Well, they are right but to a some extend.
I am a proud Hindu. I am proud because in my religion I have a freedom to practice my religion as I believe.
I am proud because in my religion I have a freedom to think about my country above my religion.
I am proud because my religion gives me freedom to adopt Muslims as a fellow citizen of this great country. To make them feel that this country is theirs as much as mine.
I am also proud because my religion made me believe that we can never be perish ed unlike this gentleman who thought that rest of the world is behind Islam so as to finish it.
Here I am with this article only because the same day same time I had a parallel chat with another Muslim who was a true Muslim as per me: He was a practicing Muslim but same time he was an Indian too.
And here I am because I want to make aware anyone who is willing to make this world a place worth to live; is not so safe we thought. We are not secure. There is something terrible wrong in many minds, unfortunately in those minds also who claim to be forward Muslims.
This man thought that all problems are because the world wants Islam must be eliminated. I do not know how many of Muslims have a feel of that. When I wanted to know why all the terrorists are Muslim he did not have any satisfactory answer. Can anyone suggest? I wanted to know why all the Muslims are being targeted worldwide too.

Do you know what makes these minds? What is the real reason how a terrorist is made.

Dear fellow RF-02 friend!
Happy Independence Day!
61 years passed by when our senior fellow Indians were having a wild feeling of being independent…… a thought which drove them wild crazy to the summit of a clash with an invincible empire who considered us minnow for 200 years! ( Think of it ).But say it determination or a battle for survival that we got a very precious asset we keep on cherishing from 15 August 1947 for rest of the coming seasons.
I do not know what it was all about being a bounded entity, not a self being, one kind of communist way of life. Frankly I do not know and perhaps you too people that what is “Gulaami” all about because none of us was born even or an awareness what it being "Azaad". I never gave an idea even what it meant paying a price in the process of seeking " Poorna swaraj". I never went to a gathering either where I might be risking my life. I tried to avoid fracases even if it is in favour of my country.
May be this is the reason that Independence day comes every year and we let it pass just as a another off duty day, engaged in our daily routine.
We are happy: aha one more day : I am off duty from that boring section. I wonder how many of us would have thought: what I am going to do with this off! At the most what we do? One pending DD in favour of some educational institute, otherwise most of us are happy only because we got a sound sleeping up to 900 hrs.
But my friends this happiness is deep rooted in our mind. We are happy not because we are getting off for one more day from our duties/sections etc. Rather it is that feeling of being independent for one full day which makes us happy. For one day we need not to get up early for "early Party" or shave, wear uniform, reach at 06:55 in Fall-in a hot talk to section I/C...etc. Remember our forefathers were “Gulaam” for Hundreds of years. What it meant to them achieving off duty for rest of their lives and for their coming generations.
Friends let us remember just for one minute for those forgotten heros who lost everything in the war of independence. Those unsung heros who knew that these will be their forthcoming generation like us, not they themselves who will reap the fruit of independence still they sacrificed everything they could. I want to thank them if somehow I could………... And this is the best day.

FOR OUR PARTS YARON!
10 solids years have passed when we came together suspicious for one another. We were just out from our cells, dreams in our eyes we were ready to take on the rest of the world. We were just out from our teens wanted to grow as a strong man, wanted to set an example, excel in our field fulfilling our desires.
You remember that very first incident at New Delhi railway station when we stopped Karnataka expressed for full 3 hours.
You remember when we had our first "Pack parade" at CTI?
You remember when we saw our fellow friend being punished and we were making mockery of him.
You remember we battled at cricket ground to win those closely fought cricket matches in different entries?
You remember the pressure of being blackface if failed which kept us awaken in late night to study (mugging up those book which did never deserve for it!).
You remember full one and half year we stayed together deciding ourselves whom I have to be in contact with.
You remember then we parted away, some tears in their eyes.
We have many things changed in these 8 years. We are now completely evolved as a personality we had designed (or destined whatever you feel like) for us. Most of us are now what we are going to be in our youth I think. It is sort of programmed in one way. We are programmed that we go to work everyday and doing routine jobs living now with our families, have leave year by year and it goes on.
These living in "idiots" are thinking they are smart that they are still at large.
One same "idiot" also thought in the same way. He kept on an eye on me how i am ferrying as a living- out. And say it his luck or misfortune that he is in this "trap".
Yes RF-2 ns! It is 791952-G Cpl Vinod Gururani who is going to meet his soul mate on 22 November 2008.
My idea is why not to make it an occasion to meet one another? Why not to feel that "Deja-vu"?
Why not to pull one another leg after so many years?
Why not that we come together with our better halves; single at least should not be ruled out.
Why not to remember those golden memories, sharing the experience in these years.
THINK OF IT.
Think of this too : We have a single life. We have been doing it for last so many years and keep on doing till we have that bond. We have been with our families for so long and will stay for rest of lives. It will be a sunny day of November. We can keep on studying. But......
We are shorts of occasions like this. Let us enjoy in his marriage. Spare just 2-3 days, a small monetary contribution and we are going to be part of a party full of fun which can further develop in a yearly routine in future.
